Partners/Sponsors
This year, Bloomsbury Farm is proud to announce that we will be partnering with Four Oaks and the Muscular Dystrophy Association as the inspiration for our 2011 Corn Maze and Kid's Maze designs. We will also be hosting two unique fundraising events to benefit these two great organizations!
The large 10-acre maze will feature the beautiful logo of Four Oaks. Four Oaks, a non-profit child welfare, juvenile justice, and behavioral health agency founded in 1973 and headquartered in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, offers services to children and families in all 99 Iowa counties. Four Oaks, and its affiliates, serves more than 14,000 people annually throughout the state. Four Oaks carries out its mission to “assure children become successful adults” by providing holistic prevention, intervention, and treatment programs and services. On August 27, Bloomsbury Farm will be hosting "Cuisine in the Corn" an elegant 5-course meal served in a cornfield! Click Here for more info on this event. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit Four Oaks.
The 4-acre kid’s maze will feature a design honoring the Muscular Dystrophy Association. MDA is the nonprofit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy, ALS, and related diseases by funding worldwide research. The Association also provides comprehensive health care and support services, advocacy and education. MDA combats neuromuscular diseases through programs of worldwide research, comprehensive medical and support services, and far-reaching professional and public health education. On September 4, Bloomsbury Farm will be hosting its first annual "Bloomsbury Farm Music Fest" featuring great bands and great fun! Click Here for more info on this event. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit MDA.
We are so excited to be working with these two amazing groups, dedicated to helping improve our communities and ultimately our world!
Each year, Bloomsbury Farm also partners with Families Helping Families, a non-profit, 100% volunteer group
designed to help and support children in foster care, relative placement, and suitable other placement. Families Helping Families is dedicated to helping children in need in our community. One night in October, a portion of the proceeds from Bloomsbury Farm's Scream Acres Haunt is donated to Families Helping Families. A silent auction is also held during that night's Haunt. Watch for more info on this event as it gets closer!
